Crash Course needs to do a Mathmatics course from basics to later in high school. You have a curious audience here and those who have holes in their maths would really benefit from it. Hope you do it. I see so many comments of CC helping ppl pass exams. I'd like to see you do Maths too.

I love everything I've seen on Crash Course, in all its incarnations.

If there's one thing I'd like to put on the table, it would be BIOGRAPHIES.  I know, in every episode, no matter the topic, you only have about 12 minutes to get as much information out as you can, as interesting as you can.  Because of this, you're unable to talk about certain historical figures as developed human beings.  Which is fine when you're trying to talk about a certain era or science, that's just getting the facts out.  But we're all people, and I think it would be interesting to put a series together where the politicians, generals, scientists, artists, writers, and others who created this world are presented, dissected, discussed, and given perspective.

Such videos would be able to overlap what you've already created, and by doing so it would create more depth in the learning experience.  For example, I was just re-watching your lesson on Conservatism.  It would be great if, after I watched that, I'd be able to pull up a video you made on Barry Goldwater, how his pre-political life molded his views and helped create modern conservatism.

I'm sure we could just go elsewhere on YouTube to find this exact thing, but I am a fan of this channel, and I'm accustomed to John Green's point of view.

Crash Course Philosophy
There are some big thinkers in the world that don't know about the other ones.
Crash. Course. Philosophy.

The next one has to be philosophy! John Green could teach it and he is the best, for one. Plus, everyone goes to school to learn how to do something practical ie tradesmen, doctor, engineer. With the pressure to go to school so you can get a good job rather than to broaden you're minds, I feel learning philosophy is reserved for people who are rich,or less prudent. That is why its perfect for this channel and give everyone fair opportunity to get a decent background in a subject that gets skipped over by mainstream education. If people don't philosophize for them selves how their own existence in the world should or could be someone else is going to tell you how it is and they might not be looking out for your best interests.

That's an awesome idea. Philosophy after all is the mother that gave birth to all sciences. I don't know if that counts as a contribution or whatever but I recommend the book, "the story of philosophy" from "Will Durant" as a structure for the videos.
That was my first philosophy book (I read todays edition not the prototype). It goes with many detail about philosophy evolution in three phases and starts from ancient Greece till Fridrich Nietzsche and some after him.
1. Explains how was life back  then, all the problems the wars etc. and reasons that drove those great thinkers think the way they did.
2. What were their ideas and their work.
3. Last years and death. Evaluation of their work from other thinkers.
For all you philosophy fans and curious about the subject, I also recommend you to take this book as it will help you see the evolution of thinking clearer. Pure gold. :)

I have a question re: meiosis.  What's really tripping me up is:
1.  at 2:29 you show homologous chromosome pairs.  There are only 22 pairs (44 chromosomes).  Is this found in all body cells with the 23 pair being the sex chromosome?  Or is this found in the specialized cells that make sperm and egg cells (spermatocytes/oocytes)?
2.  (Based on your answer to question 1, if yes to the first part of the question) Is the missing pair from the homologous chromosome pairs, the 23rd and 24th chromosome which codes for sex cells the "XX" (women) and the "XY" (men)?
3.  (Based on your answer to question 1, if yes to the second part of the question) Is the missing pair from the homologous chromosome pairs, the 23rd and 24th chromosome which codes for sex cells the "XX" (women) and the "XY" (men)?

4.  Does meiosis only occur on the 23rd and 24th chromosomes of the specialized spermatocytes and oocytes?

I'd be really interested in a crash course futurology. Talking about what's going to happen in 10-20-30 years from now and how it will change the world. Topics like automation, rising sea levels, india and brazil becoming a world power, artificial intelligence, and curing aging have alot of scientific study behind them and would lend themselves to really interesting crash course episodes.
At least for me my whole life up till now the future has been the most interesting topic, while at the same time being one of the most useful things you could inform people about. Teenagers especially, who are going to be reaching adulthood when these things are becoming reality.

+Danilo Couto de Souza it's like rooms in a hotel. a floor may have only 10 rooms, and they are labeled 100, 101, 102, etc. but when you go to the second floor, you find rooms 200, 201, etc. its because the series is named World History 2.

Based on the Crash Course: Economics introduction, can you at-least be honest and rename it Crash Course: Keynesianism?

When the introduction essentially mocks opposition to government intervention as crazy and absurd, and then proceeds to make a blanket statement that Government intervention is justified and reasonable, without providing any proof of argument; I think a program forfeits any claim to being an unbiased education program, and thus cannot be considered legitimately Enlightening.

One great way to make the program itself unbiased and much more worth-while would be to adopt Hosts from different schools of thought. This would ensure that each viewpoint receives its due representation, and can make its strongest arguments. As opposed to someone trying to explain an ideology which they personally oppose. Seeing that Economics is full of debate and opinions, due to its very theoretical nature, I think it would be most beneficial to the audience to hear the different schools of thought's arguments, from someone who actually believes them. This would make the program much more useful and realistic to allow people to form their own opinions.

However, if no system is made to ensure the program represents Keynesians, Austrians and Marxists in the way which they themselves wish to presented. Then the program should have some sort of disclaimer explaining its deficiency and bias.
