Why is it that every Radiohead YT upload there are always people commenting "I liked Radiohead when they played XVK but I'm not getting into this one ZIP...maybe they'll come to their senses and go "back," to when they were "great?" First and foremost Radiohead is like most living organisms, constantly changing, shifting, evolving, growing into different forms, which is why Radiohead is Radiohead, not Keane, Coldplay, The Fray, One Republic or some other alt rock band...I'm pretty sure I'd love it if Radiohead threw down an R&B record. Why? Because they're Radiohead, capable of doing "anything," at any time, anywhere......

Possibly the greatest collective musical force in music every. Structure, timing, creative individuality and a fierce originality that cuts straight through our modern era's embarrassing weak musical normality. I've been following this band right from the start and every song smacks me right in the chest on a level no other collective grouping of sounds can. 

Thom is amazing,  they're all amazing.  In fact i have for several years used what i call the Thom Rad Test to determine how well i might relate to new people i meet.  If anyone i meet likes radiohead (im particularly fond of in rainbows) Its worked out that we were very compatible.  I met a girl one evening and we got to talking about likes/dislikes and I asked her to write down her fav music artist and i would do the same and we would exchange them.. We both wrote Radiohead.  While our favorite songs did not align we shared a common understanding that Radiohead is lighyears above any other artist in the last 10-14 years (except for of course built to spill).   We chat and talk daily like we have known each other forever.   try it... it works :D

BOSS SP-303 around 21:00 used by Ed O'Brien.  

I was so lucky to have caught this whole video when it appeared online on New Year's Day, 2007.  (Maybe it was the eve -- i don't rightly remember now.)   Anyway, was doing stuff around the house at the time but glanced over to the screen when he was playing those samples on the SP-303.  I was jumping up and down, "Honey!  Honey!  I've got one of those boxes and these guys saw fit to use one, too!"   (Fortunately, i was able to get her into RadioHead a bit around this time. :) )

coming back to this album years later. in retrospect this album contains some of radiohead's best moments: weird fishes, nude, reckoner... it's all very atmospheric, haunting, and emotional. top quality.

Love the nipples of Radiohead...but...they have the perfect set up here to do "Crawling King Snake" by The Doors!

These days Radiohead is one of the few things that keep me from committing suicide.
